A purse full of suprises-Workshop

30th of may and yesterday I gave this workshop in the scrapbook store Simpel-Scrappen. I saw the idea a while ago in a blog( I forgot which one..sorry!) and I thought it was a great idea.. But I did make it a little bit different . I had 18 people and they all loved it! We had great fun and allthought it was hard work for them, they all enjoyed it! I baked some muffins for them and that was just jummie!

30 Mei en gisteren heb ik weer workshop gegeven bij Carla in de winkel. Ik zag dit tasje ergens op een blog en had er meteen eentje gemaakt, toen Carla het zag vond ze het leuk voor een workshop, dus heb hem opnieuw gemaakt maar dan met papier wat nog vrij nieuw is. De eerste die ik gemaakt heb zal ik later wel even laten zien. Het was allebei de keren reuze gezellig, ik had muffins gebakken en dat ging er wel in!

Alweer een nieuwe challenge !! deze keer heeft Lia een mooie sketch gemaakt! Voor meer info kijk op het sugar bowl blog en doe mee, je kan er een hele nieuwe set stempels mee winnen die ontworpen zijn door Diana Duda!

vergeet niet dat de sketch in de kaart moet zitten en ook blauw en groen. Ik had geen papier wat hiervoor in aanmerking kwam dus ik heb totaal iets anders gemaakt, maar wil je voor de prijs in aanmerking komen dan moet je wel die 2 kleuren gebruiken!

Oh my, look what I've got!!

Today the postman brought me several packages, and when I opened them I was so suprised!!

144 copics ciao's were in there! A present from Sugar Nellie for me, because I can't go to Orlanda with the sugar nellie team... and therefor they wanted to give me a present... I am so glad with them and want to thanks Karen again for this great gift! It is to much but I will play with them as soon as the right inkt en paper have arrived! If anyone knows where to buy a box of time I would be gratefull!

Jeetje , kijk eens wat de post bracht vandaag! Alle 144 copics ciao's! Gekregen van Sugar Nellie, omdat ik niet naar de beurs in Orlanda ga met het team. Jee ik was zo beduusd van dit grote kado zeg! Zodra de goede inkt en papier hier zijn ga ik ermee aan de slag...spannend hoor want wat ik her en der lees is het veeel oefenen...Als iemand nog een doosje tijd heeft. hou ik me aanbevolen hoor!!

Scrap On Line cards!

It was time for a new SOL evening, and I did it this time. I've made 2 cards with the same sketch but the christmas card is mirrowed!

A lovely new stamp from the sugar Nellie range- country girls.. I thought these papers are just right because of all those colors.. and the girl is painting! I've colored with distress and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.

And this one is made with a new stamp of doraline. Isn't she cute?

Now I am busy with 2 brand new cardkits from Simpel-Scrappen and they are gorgous!! I hope to show you some cards very soon!

Alweer een SOL vandaag en ik heb hem deze keer weer zelf gedaan. Ik had 2 voorbeelden gemaakt, ook eentje kerst en die meteen gespiegeld zodat ik ook weer bijna klaar ben voor Juni met de kerstaktie.

De bovenste kaart is gemaakt met een country girl van sugar nellie! Gaaf hé!

Ik moet nu snel met de 2 geweldige nieuwe cardkits aan de slag van Simpel-Scrappen en ik hoop snel wat te kunnen laten zien!

Another sketch challenge on my club

Tomorrow a new month is beginning, so also a new challenge on my club! And I love to share it again with all my blog readers. I've made 3 cards with this sketch, 2 of them you have allready seen it here on my blog but the last one I show you now.

It is a wintercard made with a Magnolia stamp. I would love to buy some new christmas stamps, but I think it is too early? What do you think? I make christmas cards the whole year through , so some new stamps will be very welcome!!

Now I'm off to my scraproom to try and make a new Scrap On Line card for this week so have a nice evening and thanks you so much for all those great and loveling commends everytime!

Ja een nieuwe maand, dus ook een nieuwe uitdaging op de club weer. Ik vind het leuk de om de sketch met jullie te delen hier vandaar dat ik hem hier laat zien. Ook een kerstkaartje ermee gemaakt, en de andere 2 zijn al voorbij gekomen hier op mijn blog. Ik kijk uit naar wat nieuwe kerst stempels want ja ik maak kerstkaarten het hele jaar en raak wat uitgekeken op de oude stempels...hebben jullie dat ook?

Nu snel weer naar boven om te proberen een nieuwe SOL kaartje te maken voor komende week,

Ooo ik vind ze zooo cute dat ik gisteren nog een kaartje met doraline moest maken...het nieuwe schitterende cardkitpapier lag er nog dus dat moest er aan geloven deze keer... Heb weer ingekleurd met distressinkt want dat gaat weer zo lekker. Voorlopig even geen tijd meer voor kaartjes want zaterdag ga ik een workshop geven bij Carla... altijd leuk en gezellig en ook dit keer gaan we iets super leuks maken!! Ook moeten er weer 2 cardkits gemaakt worden dus druk druk druk!

Voor strakkies slaap lekker!

Oooo these new stamps from motivet are sooooo great, so I had to make another card with one of them. The papers from the last cardkit were lying on my desk so I used them. Colored again with distress inkt, I think the colors are deeper and fits right with this stamp. Saturday I will give the first workshop here in the scrapstore, so I'm busy with lots of things for that. Also the 2 new cardskit have to be made so I'm a bit busy for a couple of days...

For now sleep tight!

A new workshop on my club

Voor de club heb ik weer een nieuwe workshop gemaakt en wel een filefolder met label. De label schuif je links aan de zijkant in de filefolder. Het valt niet mee elke keer weer wat te verzinnen maar gelukkig is het deze keer weer gelukt. Ook heb ik alweer de nieuwe challenge kaart voor de sugar bowl klaar maar ja daar moeten jullie even op wachten!

Eetsmakelijk voor strakkies en een fijne avond.

I've made a new workshop for my club: a filefolder with a label . The label you have to put in the filefolder on the left side.

It is difficult to make every month something else, but this time I've maneged!

I have made also the new challenge card for the sugar bowl next week but you have to wait for that one to see. Sorry!!

Oo ik vind ze zoo geweldig, de nieuwe stempels van Motivet! Het lieve Eekhoorntje Doraline en er is ook nog Dexter! Je kunt een bestellijst opvragen bij Krea Teja en ze daar bestellen!

Ik heb hier het mooie papier van Adornit gebruikt, vind ik zo leuk bij Doraline passen.. het was gewoon heerlijk met deze combinatie te werken.Het weer is hier echt vreselijk, harde wind, regen en koud dus echt weer om lekker in mijn freubelhokkie te zitten zo meteen!

Aren't they adorable??!! Those new stamps from Motivet! The lovely Doraline and her friend Dexter! I couldn't resist them and had to order some... I've used the new papers from Adornit and it was great working with this combination!

A boy's best friend!

Vandaag weer een jongenskaart gemaakt, had zulk gaaf papier gekocht bij Simpel-Scrappen en dat paste zo mooi bij de jongens stempels van Sugar Nellie. Ik heb weer eens ingekleurd met distressinkt en heb niet al te veel rommeltjes erbij geplakt omdat het papier al erg mooi is...Zo nu lekker aan een bakkie koffie...heb ik wel verdiend.

I'm a little bit busy but I've managed to make another boys card today! I found some cool boys papers at my scrap store and combined it with this gorgeous Home Grown stamp from the SUGAR NELLIE Range! I've colored it with distressinkt and didn't use much embellishments, because the papers are beautifull enought of its own! have a nice monday, I will have some coffee now!

Always Playful!

Gistermiddag nog even dit kaartje gemaakt met de home grown ~Fish bowl~ stempel van Sugar nellie.

Het papier is al een wat oudere lijn van Sweetwater maar met de visjes erin, paste hij perfect bij deze stempel.

Nu ga ik lekker genieten van het prachtige weer en wens jullie een mooi weekend toe.

Yesterday I made this card with the Home Grown stamp - Fish Bowl - from the Sugar Nellie range. The papers are a bit old but with all those little fishes in it, it was perfect for this card.

The sun is shining here so I will go and enjoy the beautifull wether!

Sugar Nellie -Country Style

Is deze stempel niet geweldig? Het zal vast en zeker weer een favoriet van mij worden!! Hij is weer van Sugar Nellie van de Home grown serie. Het papier was laatst nieuw bij Carla en is van GCD Studios. Dubbelzijdig en kost maar 65 cent per vel!

Ik heb dit afdrukje weer ingekleurd met de distressinkt. Het lag nog op de tafel omdat ik voor de workshop die ik binnenkort bij Carla ga geven ook het inkleuren met distress zal gaan doen. Ik durf nog steeds niet goed een achtergrond in de afdruk te maken , bang dat ik het verknoei maar wie weet komt er een dag....

Oooo it was so much fun tonight at the SOL night!! I had to give some hints every 5 minutes but also the phone rang so I had to do 2 things at the same time, but all the cards the members made were great!!! This was my card I had made as a SOL card. Still my favorite stamp from the Sugar Nellie range...Daisy!

het was weer reuze gezellig vanavond en ondanks dat ik en hints en aan de telefoon was, ging het geweldig... Schitterende kaarten waren er weer gemaakt aan de hand van mijn gegeven hints...

Vanmiddag heerlijk aan de freubel geweest en deze cutie gemaakt, een nieuwe van de Home grown range van Sugar Nellie! Ik heb niet veel met jongenskaarten maar deze stempels zijn zo geweldig.. moest wel diep graven om wat jongens achtig papier te vinden maar ik denk dat dit goed kan. Vanavond is er weer een SOL die ik ga doen dus er komt vanvond weer een kaartje op hoor! Voor nu alvast eetsmakelijk!

i did some lovely coloring this afternoon and made this card with the new Home Grown Range by Sugar Nellie. I don't make much boy cards but with these lovely stamps it isn't difficult! I did have some problems finding boy papers but I think this is allright! Tonight there will be another SOl on my club , so I show you then another card!

Tja, ik had nieuwe papiertjes gekocht bij Carla dus moest er vanavond even mee spelen hoor, Schitterende series van Adornit waren binnen gekomen en dit is er eentje van. Ik vond Anya er geweldig bij passen met haar mandje met bloemen. Thanks to Caz for sending them to me!

I had bought some new papers yesterday and tonight I had time te play with them. I love those new papers from Adornit! And thanks to Caz, I've got the stamps from the Greetings Farm- Anya in my mailbox last week ( thanks you so much Caz!) and I think Anya fits fine with these papers!

Yesterday is was mothersday and I've been spoiled with 2 beautifull pandora charms!!
This cards I've made for the Cards Only nr 6.

Alos these 2 baby boxes were in the Cards Only. They are filled with little baby socks!

Gisteren was het moederdag en ik ben heerlijk verwend met 2 pandora bedeltjes voor mijn armband. De moederdag kaart stond in het vorige nummer van Cards Only net als de 2 babydoosjes!

I'm sorry for being late with my sugar bowl card, but I was away for a coupple of days to my mom's and today I came home.

Just Because

Deze kaart lag al een tijdje half afgemaakt en vanmiddag heb ik hem maar afgeplakt en versierd. Schitterende stempel van Sugar Nellie... wordt vast weer 1 van mijn favoriete!

Haar broek is aangekleed met scrappapier, ik had niet de juiste kleur potlood! Ik wens jullie nog een fijen dag toe.Vanaf morgen ben ik een paar dagen naar mijn moeder in Friesland en ben er zaterdag weer.

I had this card almost done for a couple of days, and today I've finished it with some flowers etc... I couldn't find the right color pencil for her trousers, so I've used the back of a scrappaper!

Deze workshop stond in Cards Only 6 en nu nr 7 uit is kan ik hem ook hier laten zien. Ik heb op verschillende blogs en op mijn club hem al voorbij zien komen en vind het geweldig als de mensen de workshop na maken, dan weet ik dat het een leuke workshop was en dat het weer voor velen een inspartiebron was!

I saw this idea somewhere on the internet and I thought it is such a great idea, so I had to make it myself but a little bit different.... So the complete tutorial is on my club!

The papers I've used are from My Minds eye and I've colored with my derwent pencils. Also I've used the glitter copics pencils for some extra accents!

Deze workshop is nu te vinden op mijn club..Ik zag het idee ergens op het internet en vond hem zo leuk dat ik hem ook gemaakt heb, alleen met een eigen draai eraan. En voor alle leden hem meteen uitgewerkt zodat ook zij hem kunnen maken.

Weer een nieuwe uitdaging op de club voor de maand mei,

Another challenge on my club... This is the sketch and I've made 3 cards with it...

Een kerstkaartje gemaakt van Basic Grey papier, Magnolia stempel en ingekleurd met de derwent potloden.

A christmas card made with basic grey papers and a Magnolia, Colored with derwent pencils.

Ook deze is gemaakt van Basic Grey papier en een stempel van Sugar Nellie en weer ingekleurd met de derwent potloden.

Also (new) basic grey papers and a stamp from Sugar Nellie, colored with derwent pencils.

En hier een nieuwe stempel van Sugar Nellie gebruikt, en mooi papier van Fancy Pants.

Again a Sugar Nellie stamp and papers from Fancy pants. This one is alos colored with the derwent pencils.

Scrap Online en een moeilijke beslissing...

Vanavond heb ik eindelijk weer eens zelf de scrap online verzorgt, heb een paar hectische weken achter de rug waardoor ik geen tijd maar ook geen fut had om hem te doen...gelukkig zijn Angelique en Sandra er dan om in te vallen en dat gaat ook prima! Dit kaartje stond er vanavond op de planning en ook deze heb ik weer met mijn derwent potloden ingekleurd!

Verder heb ik een moeilijke beslissing moeten nemen...en dat is stoppen met het werken voor het tijdschrift Cards Only.. Heb er weken over nagedacht, want zoiets beslis je niet zomaar, maar ik heb het zo druk met diverse opdrachten etc wat betreft kaarten maken dat het me gewoon te veel word... Werken voor Sugar Nellie vind ik zo geweldig dat ik daar lekker mee door wil gaan, Ook de Simpel-Scrappen cardkits en workshops geven in de winkel wil ik voor geen goud missen, dan natuurlijk mijn club waar ik al 5 jaar in gestoken heb kan ik niet mee stoppen en tja dan blijft er Cards Only over... het was beslist een hele moeilijke keuze en beslissing en heb het er dan ook nog wel moeilijk mee, maar ja heb ook nog een gezin en mijn werk bij de thuiszorg en alles bij elkaar lukt gewoon niet meer... Maar mocht ik ooit toch weer een leuke workshop maken, dan mag ik hem doorsturen naar Truike( paper and pictures) dan wordt hij vast nog geplaatst...

Voor nu wens ik jullie een fijne avond toe,

Tonight there was another Scrap-Online and this time I could finally do it myself! The last couple of weeks were so busy that I couldn't find the time and the mojo to do it.. Angelique and Sandra have done it for me and they did great!

This was the card they had to make. Again I colored it with the derwent pencils.

And I had to make a very difficult decision... I can't work for the dutch Magazine Cards Only anymore. I am so busy with lots of others things , working for Sugar Nellie( I love that so much) , working for Simpel-Scrappen( scrapstore here in Den Helder) where I teach workshops in card making and I make cards with the 2 cardkits, My club is everthing to me, my family, my work, so I had to make this decision...It was very hard to do and I'm a bit sad about it, but I have to think about myself....

Héhé, eindelijk weer zin, tijd en inspiratie om lekker aan de freubel te gaan vandaag! Heb heerlijk met een magnolia stempel uit de chasing butterflies kit gespeeld. En ik heb weer eens ouderwets met mijn derwentpotloden ingekleurd... Had ik zolang niet gedaan, maar vind het weer geweldig om te doen.. het papier is nieuw van Fancy Pants...vind het prachtig!!

Yessss my Mojo is back and I finally found time,joy and inspiration to go upstairs to my scrap room and play with a new Magnolia stamp from the chasing butterflies kit. I also colored with my derwent pencils... most of the time I use the distress ink, but now I love coloring with these pencils again. The lovely papers are new from fancy Pants.

I'm back! (long post)

Hello every one,
First of all I want to thank all of you for your lovely words about the lost of my mother in law.
Last Thursday we had to say goodbye and it was very hard, I read a poem and someone else told something about her life.
Now we have to empty her house and try to arrange all her paper work.

Ik wil allereerst iedereen bedanken voor de lieve woorden na het overlijden van mijn schoonmoeder.Afgelopen donderdag was het afscheid, het was moeilijk, ik heb een gedicht voorgelezen en iemand anders vertelde in het kort haar levensverhaal. Nu moet nog haar huisje leeg en al het papierwerk geregeld.

And then yesterday I had my clubday! It was a bit hard to make a switch to something nice but all the members were so kind and it was a great day! I had organised a clubday for 70 people and prepared a workshop..

Gisteren was dan ook nog de clubdag! het was raar om van iets trietst naar iets leuks om te schakelen maar dankzij alle leden is het een geweldige dag geweest... Ik had een clubdag geregeld voor 70 mensen en had een workshop bedacht:

It was a great succes and everybody has had a great time...Around 3 o'clock we went to a scrap store(Simpel-Scrappen) and did some shopping and after that some of the people went home and a group of 30 people went to the clubhouse and we eat something together.

I have had a great day and was exhausted, my feet were killing me , but it was all worth it!

Het was een super gezellige dag, iedereen heeft zich uitstekend vermaakt! Rond de klok van 3 uur zijn we naar Simpel-Scrappen gegaan en hebben heerlijk geshopt! Sommigen gingen daarna naar huis en een groep van 30 mensen gingen nog gezellig wat eten met elkaar.

Het was werkelijk een dag om weer lang op te kunnen teren , ik was doodmoe, mijn voetjes wilden echt niet meer, maar het was het dubbel en dwars waard!

X-MAS CARDS

Tja het is pasen maar toch plaats ik wat kerstkaartjes...deze heb ik gemaakt voor cards Only en sommigen zijn niet gepubliceerd dus kan ik ze hier laten zien...

Het was een vreemd paas weekend voor ons, want mijn schoon moeder is afgelopen zaterdag plotseling overleden, en omdat mijn schoonvader ook al overleden is moet er veel gebeuren, huisje moet leeg, crematie regelen en alles eromheen. Moeilijk allemaal weer.

I'm sorry, I know it is Easter, but still I will show you some Christmas cards.. I've made these for the Magazine Cards Only, and some of them were not published, so I can show them here.

It was a strange easter for us, because my mother in law, has suddenly past away last saterday, so we have a lot of things to do. My father in law has past away 13 years ago, so the house must be cleaned and everything in it we have to look through and stuff like that.. It is very hard but it has to be done.

Some more new gorjuss girls!!

It was lot's of fun last night at the SCS when all the samples made by Marlene, Rach, Erica and Tammi and myself were shown! All the Samples were stunning!

The new gorjuss girls set 2 is now available for pre-order from Funkykits, SUGAR NELLIE and will not run out of stock, it’s a great way for Karen to gage how many to get ordered!

This sample is made with 2 of the new girls and a bit in vintage style,

This is flower girl I call her with all those fowers in her hair..

This girlie is a bit with an attitude and so I picked papers which are also cool!

And this one is perfect for condoleance card I think, always difficult but necesarry.

Zondag nog snel deze kaart in elkaar geflanst zodat er weer een scrap-online gegeven kon worden! Gemaakt met een stempel uit de magnolia spring kit en het schitterende papier van Bo Bunny. omdat het papier al zo mooi van zichzelf is heb ik maar weinig embellies bij geplakt!

Sending Sunshine

Deze 2 magnolia's had ik al een tijdje geleden besteld maar het ontbrak me aan tijd om er iets mee te doen..maar eindelijk kon ik er dan even mee aan de slag..dat kleine lammetje zoo lief! Ik had haar eerst gemaskeerd bij de boom maar op 1 of andere manier voegde dat niet en toen heb ik haar maar uitgeknipt en ervoor geplakt.De tekst op het stukje gescheurde scrappapier had ik eens bij Inge gezien en vond ik zo leuk dat ik dat ook hier heb gedaan.

Een fijne dag allemaal.

These 2 Magnolia stamps I had bought a couple of weeks ago, but still didn't have time to play with them..untill yesterday... I love those sweet pictures! The papers are from daisy bucket , and the colors are so beautiful!! De sentiment on the little piece of paper I saw on Inge's blog and I loved the way she had used it.

Het was weer super gezellig vanavond met de scrap-online! We hadden koffie, thee, bonbons, cake pfffff het is wel leuk zo'n avondje maar je groeit er wel van hihihihih

Dit was mijn voorbeeld weer, tevens ook voor de nieuwe look die binnenkort op de club komt...in groen en paars tinten...Ik ben totaal geen fan van paars, maar begin het toch wel mooi te vinden zo langzamerhand! Een fijne avond allemaal!

It was really fun tonight with the scrap online! We had coffee, tea, cake, chocolat, hihih we will grow everytime! This was the card I had made.. it had to make it in green and purple because soon my club will be changed in those colors. I totally don't love purple, but with this green I love it! Tja deze kaart,rolde er vanmiddag zo maar uit en dacht vooruit doen we er een extra scrap-online mee! Dus ben je nieuwsgierig hoe de kaart er in zijn geheel uit ziet, doe dan vanavond mee(half 8) ! Marlene en ik willen in de toekomst eens via blogs een online doen, zij in het engels en ik in het nederlands met dezelfde kaart zodat iedereen mee kan doen. We laten nog wel weten wanneer!

Scattering Love!

Zo, ik heb weer een hele stapel kaarten klaar voor Sugar Nellie dus die gaan morgen richting scotland. Maar er ligt alweer een stapeltje nieuwe te wachten, dus we gaan vrolijk verder!
Dit is scattering Love... uit een serie van 4 prachtige lente achtige stempels ontworpen door Elisabeth Bell! Ik had het papier van MME nog liggen en ik vind het er prima bij passen!

Yess!! I have a couple of cards ready to send to the Sugar Nellie range again! But I don't have to be bored, because I have had allready some new stamps to work with!

This stamp is Scattering Love... designed by Elisabeth Bell. I think these 4 stamps are great to make lovely spring cards! The papers were still on my desk from MME , and I thing it fits perfectly!

Nieuwe Workshop!

Het werd weer tijd voor een nieuwe workshop op de club en omdat hij sinds vandaag op de club staat, kan ik hem ook hier laten zien! Een soort omslagdoosje waar stempelafdrukjes in kunnen. Leuk om kado te doen aan ook een kaarten maakster of gewoon net als ik, lekker voor mezelf! Ik probeer elke maand een workshop te maken voor op de club, dus kom gerust eens kijken!

Het lijkt wel winter hier op mijn blog! Maare deze kaarten stonden in Cards only 5 en omdat het nieuwe nummer alweer een weekje uit is, kan ik jullie deze hier laten zien! En ze kunnen meteen meedoen met de kerstaktie op de club: 4 kerstkaarten per maand maken en plaatsen! Vanavond aan de slag met 2 cardkits, dus vervelen hoef ik me niet!

It looks like winter on my blog! But these cards wer published in Cards Only nr5, and because nr 6 is out now, I can show them to you. And I can put them on my club because of het christmas challenge there,: to make 4 christmas cards each month!

Vanavond was dan weer een scrap-online en deze keer heb ik hem zelf weer gedaan! Tha, ahum, hihhh weer een gorjuss girl maar met dit schitterende nieuwe papier van Dream street is het gewoon 1 geheel geworden! Heb lekker veel knoopjes en plakparels gebruikt deze keer!Een fijne avond allemaal hoor!

Tonight I did the scrap-online again! It was so much fun and I'm hoping to see a lot of cards! Ys I did it again...used a gorjuss girl, but with these colorful papers from dream street, it is so lovely! I've put a lot af buttons and pearls on the card this time.

Sorry hoor, maar alweer een kaart met een Gorjuss Girl! Ze liggen ook zo verleidelijk op mijn buro dat ik ze toch elke keer weer pak! Enne wist je al dat er nog enkele kits te koop zijn bij Funky kits? Dus had je spijt en was je te laat met bestellen, doe dit nu dan nog snel. De stempels komen pas met een week of 3/4 los te koop!

Ik heb hier een nieuwe lijn van MME gebruikt de bloom lijn. De stempel heb ik ingekleurd met distress inkt en ook weer eens mijn nestabilities gepakt.

Cards Only 6 is uit dus mag hier wat kreatie's laten zien die in nr 5 stonden, waaronder dus deze workshop. Schitterend papier van Making memories, stempel van Magnolia en verder niet al te veel frutsels gebruikt, gewoon omdat het papier van zichzelf al geweldig is!

The new Magazine Cards Only nr 6 is out, so I can show you some things I've made for the nr 5 issue! This workshop I had made with a complete tutorial about how to make it. I love the papers from Making Memories they are so gorgeous, so I've used not many embellishments.

Gorjusssss!!

Eindelijk vielen de Gorjuss stempels op de mat en ik voelde me vandaag goed genoeg om even boven te zitten en ermee aan de slag te gaan! Toen was het nog moeilijk met welke te beginnen, maar deze sprong er voor mij al meteen uit. Zo kon ik ook meteen werken met de splksplinter nieuwe papiertjes van Dream Street, die van de week bij Simpel-Scrappen waren binnen gekomen! En nu eerst maar de troep opruimen zodat ik morgen weer verder kan met deze geweldige gave stempels van Sugar Nellie!

Yessss, they arrived here finally this weekend, and I'm feeling well enough to play with them... aren't they gorgeous???? I couldn't choose which one to go first, but this one with the letter in her hands won! I've used brand new papers from Dream Street-Fresh, and the sentiment is from Hero arts. Now I have to clean up the mess overhere, so I can play more tomorrow!

Deze keer deed Angelique de scrap online omdat ik nog steeds herstellende ben. Maar kon het toch niet laten om mee te doen.. Het is een stuk makkelijker als iemand al voor je heeft nagedacht en ik vond het geweldig om te doen... Weer een schitterende stempel van Sugar Nellie... Ik vind hem sooo cute! Het papier is al een oudje uit de chatterbox lijnen.

This time Angelique did the scraponline because I;m still recuperating from my operation, but I couldn't resist playing along with all the others.It was so much fun!! It is easy when somebody has done everything and you only have to make it the same way!

Before I went to the hospital, I've got the 2 cardkits from Simpel-Scrappen and made these cards with it.

I'm home!

Yesterday I came home from the hospital, I'm feeling not well yet and the operation went okay but not the way it should..I have a great cut in my bellie instead of 3 little wholes, It still is very painfull and I can't sit very long . Now I have to recover from everything and hopefully I can make cards soon because I miss it! I read that the gorjuss stamps are on it's way to me so I must be better a bit then.. I want to thanks everyone for the loving words , cards and emails before I went to the hospital. It was so heart warming! I've got over the 100 cards, a lot af flowers , candy and so much more, it will help to recover soon!

Scrap Online...

We did a scrap-online again tonight, and this was the card I've made. The papers were in the cardkit from Simpel-Scrappen and is soooo lovely! And I love those little roses!! The flowers I have colored with glimmermist but you can't see the glitters very well on this picture.
I hope to see you all very soon, tomorrow is my surgery and hopefully I will be back before the weekend! Take care everyone and I want to thank everyone who send me emails and comments about the surgery, it feels good that you all care.

Voor de club heb ik deze workshop gemaakt, Het is geen idee van mezelf maar zag zoiets op een site en heb er mijn eigen draai aan gegegeven! Het papier is van K&Company heerlijk romantisch en prachtige warme kleuren. Wil je weten hoe dit is gemaakt, kom dan een kijkje nemen op de club.

This labelpurse is a workshop on my club. I saw the idea somewhere on the internet and made it some different ! The papers I've used are from K&Company, romantic and warm colors! This is a happy birthday purse but it can be also for someone who is been ill with some tea bags in it!

Again another gorgeous new stamp from the sugar nellie range!! Isn't she cute?? I couldn't resist to start making a new card today with one of the 4 new stamps, designed bij Elisabeth bell..

I'm busy making my house clean, the laundry done,etc because tuesday the 10th of Februari I have to go to hospital for a gall bladder surgery.. I have to be there a couple of days and hope to be back home before the weekend.

But hopefully I can make some more cards this weekend because they are so great playing with!

Vanavond heb ik dit kaartje nog even snel gemaakt... gewoon even lekker bezig zijn... Het papier is zo mooi echt al voorjaar!! Ik ga morgen 2 dagen naar mijn moeder dus ben er vrijdagavond weer! bedankt weer voor jullie lieve berichtjes elke keer weer!

Foto challenge

Van Jeanet (thanks!!) kreeg ik een leuke uitdaging nl :neem je zesde map met foto's van je computer, neem daaruit de zesde foto, plaats de foto op je blog en vertel er iets over. Nodig daarna 6 nieuwe vrienden uit hetzelfde te doen. Link de websites en laat ze weten dat ze worden uitgedaagd. Nu heb ik maar 1 map met foto's gewoon omdat ik altijd vergeet foto's te maken en dus kwamen eigenlijk deze 2 foto's eruit.

Dit was het vertrek van Karel met zijn Marine naar Libanon februari 2007 voor 6 maanden.

Het was voor het eerst weer sinds een jaar of 8 dat hij weer zolang weg moest, dus er werden menige traantjes gelaten. Ook omdat we net 2 dagen ervoor gehoord hadden dat mijn vader terminaal was.... Toch moest hij vertrekken en kwam na 3 maanden terug omdat het zo slecht ging met mijn vader... 3 weken nadat karel thuis was, is mijn vader overleden..

Ik kijk dus met gemengde gevoelens naar deze foto's en was ze eerlijk gezegd al een 'beetje' vergeten...

I've got a photo tag from Jeanet:where I had to take the 6th photo from the 6th folder, show it and explain the pic..

I don't have so many folders with pictures because I always forget to make photo's but these I found in my only map.

My husband went with the dutch navy to Libanon for 6 months( februari 2007) and you see the ship leaving here. It was very hard also because we heard two days before, that my dad was very ill and couldn't be better... 3 months later, Karel( my husband) came back and 3 weeks later my dad died. So these photo's are special to me.

Eindelijk kan ik weer een kaart laten zien... was zo druk met andere opdrachten, maar deze kan ik laten zien... Het papier is nieuw van K&Company, en ik vond het eerst veel te druk papier, maar juist dan koop ik het omdat het dan ene uitdaging word... en nu vind ik ze toch prachtig! Lekker veel bloemen maar ook vellen die wat rustiger zijn! Heb daarom ook lekker veel bloemen op de kaart gebruikt. De stempel is er weer eentje van Sugar Nellie, deze past mooi bij het thema spring is in the air...ook al duurt dat nog wel even hier!

Ik wens jullie een fijne avond toe en bedankt weer voor het kijken en voor de lieve berichtjes die jullie elke keer weer neerzetten!

I've managed to make a card today! I was so busy with other card making but I can't show those to you yet..but this one I made tonight... New papers from K&Company- Lotus Tea Box. At first I didn't like them for cardmaking, but I bought them because I find it a challenge to make something with it.... I think the papers are so beautifull now with all those flowers so I've used them also on the card! The stamp is one of the Sugar Nellie range and with spring in the air( hihihi not over here yet) I thought it would fit with the papers!

this is on the front, a big flower with some flourish and a little rose in the middle.

With this stamp I thought of christmas, so that's what I've made with it! Also papers from basic grey and in the picture some sparkling stars but you can't see it right!

woww The first challenge with my sketch was a great succes! So many sugar nellie fans!! Thank you so much and now you can work on the second challenge! The theme is "three"!

Alweer een scraponline gehad vanavond en Oooo wat is dat toch super leuk! Ik ben dan ook heeel benieuwd naar alle andere kaarten!! Ik ga snel terug naar de club om te zien wat er allemaal al gemaakt is!

Jaa het was weer tijd voor de beide cardskit! en wat voor kits...Deze keer weer zulk mooi papier!

De eerste kit was gevuld met een paperpad van basic grey met cardstock en prachtige embellies..Hieronder mijn kaartjes en een doosje!

En de 2de kit gevuld met My minds eye papier ook lekkere kleurtjes en mooie embellies erbij. Ook hiermee heb ik 3 voorbeelden gemaakt.

Sugar Sugar-Paper Beads.
The first months project for Sugar Sugar is the Paper Bead tutorial by Marlene.
They are so easy to make and lovely on any project or card. I've bought a matchbox, I disassembled it so I could make it from Cardstock.

I colored Maggie on al label and with ribbon I tied it around the box. 2 paperbeads on the end
of some scrappersfloss and it is a lovely project to put some candy or little presents in it!

Ik ga lekker door met kerstkaartjes maken... deze is alweer voor volgend jaar.. Ik had er dit jaar maar net genoeg dus een goed begin is het halve werk zullen we maar zeggen... Alweer een geweldige stempel van Sugar Nellie! Heb papiertjes gebruikt van crate paper..lekker vrolijk en ingekleurd met distress inkt. Ben heel benieuwd wat de clubleden van de online workshop hebben gemaakt, ze moesten namelijk deze kaart maken zonder hem eerst gezien te hebben!

Find joy everyday!

We deden een scrap online vanavond op de club. Ik had dit kaartje gemaakt en de maten vanmiddag al doorgeven van alle stukken papier die we gingen gebruiken. Vanavond gaf ik zo nu en dan een hint waar de stukjes papier geplakt moesten worden en na ongeveer 2 uur kwamen de prachtigste kaarten tevoorschijn! Voor herhaling vatbaar dus!

Tonight we did an online scrap on my club. I had made this card and this afternoon I had put all the sizes of the pieces of papers on the club. The members could cut them already and tonight I'd gave a hint now and then where to put the pieces on the card. After 2 hours most of them were done and we saw lots of differents cards!!! we will do it again because everyone was excited!

Heerlijke kleurtjes die papier van heidi Grace! Sommige vellen lekker glitters en sommige lekker fluweelzacht..helaas is blogs nog niet voelbaar hihihihi
Deze 'oudjes'van Sugar Nellie zijn mijn favoriet... heerlijk om in te kleuren en deze keer weer eens mijn prisma potloden gebruikt! De swirls zijn weer gemaakt met de slice!

Ooooo those colors from the papers of Heidi Grace are so gorgeous! Some of them are full of glitters and some are so soft!!
These oldies from Sugar Nellie are still my favorites! I've colored them with my prisma pencils and the swirls you see are again from the slice!

Christmas is on it's way!

Tja de sint is weer vertrokken en iedereen lijkt al wel bezig met de kerst versieringen... including me! De boom staat al en her en der nog wat extra lampjes en ditjes en datjes..het geeft weer een gezellige sfeer in huis!
Dit papier had ik van de week gekocht en vond het nog best moeilijk in alleen rood tinten.. maar toen eenmaal de layout gemaakt was, lukte het verder snel en rolde deze kaart eruit! De swirls zijn gesneden met de Slice!

Everyone seems to be busy with trimming the christmas tree, and make it cozy at home! Including me! it's so cozy when al those twinkling lights are shining!!!
This paper I've bought last week and at first I tought it was difficult with just white and red, but when I've made the layout, the rest came allong and this card was made!
The flourishes are made with the slice!

Look what I;ve got from my husband! The new Slive from making Memories! !Woww I'm soo glad with it! I was in the store yesterday and didn't know what to do.. buy it or not... but my husband took the slice and payed for it... isn't it sweet!!

later on I bought this cardrigde with all those lovely swirls!! I couldn't resist that one!

and on ebay I bought this one...the christmas cardridge... so you know what I can do this weekend!

Heb er weer eentje gemaakt, en deze keer in een kerst uitvoering... Ik vind ze zo gaaf om te maken! De bloemen op de voorkant heb ik gekregen van Carla, ze zaten in een doos met nog 4 andere potjes vol met allerlei bloemen, lintjes etc voor kerst! Eigenlijk behoren ze een beetje bol te staan, maar ik heb ze wat platter gemaakt door aan de achterkant een stukje af te snijden.

Voor mijn 'Kaarten maken met Tiets' club, was het weer tijd geworden voor een nieuwe look, dus ook een nieuwe workshop. Omdat ik veel vragen had gekregen over hoe een crisscross kaart gemaakt werd, heb ik er eentje gemaakt en tot workshop uitgewerkt op de club. Dus wil je weten hoe je deze kunt maken kom dan eens een kijkje nemen op de club en word lid!

This time I've made for my club a workshop how to make a crisscross card. Many members didn't know how to make this card, so I've made this one and put a tutorial on my club. I love the text stamp on this one... The only way to have a friend is to be one... how true that is!!

Cardkit kaarten

De 2 cardkits van Simpel-Scrappen zijn weer verzonden , dus ik moest weer voorbeelden maken. Nou dat was geen straf hoor want beide kits zijn gewoon zooo geweldig mooi! In de winkel kit zit het mooie October Afternoon Good Cheer papier en kun je voor zowel kerst als winterkaartjes gebruiken. Ik heb de onder staande 3 kaarten ermee gemaakt.

De clubkit bestond deze keer uit prachtig winter papier van Heidi Grace..prachtige blauwtinten en super gave sneeuwvlokken!

Ook hiermee heb ik 3 kaarten gemaakt:

Those 6 cards I've made with the 2 cardkits from Simpe-Scrappen. The papers are just gorgeous and so I went on and on and there were 6 cards!

I wish you a nice sunday. We are celebrating the birthday of my youngest, he becomes 18 on tuesday but tomorrow all our familie and friends are coming over.

Weer 2 kaartjes af voor Sugar Nellie, deze stempels zijn voor mij even wennen maar eenmaal inkleurd valt het toch best mee! Vind deze koe toch wel erg cute hoor!!

Pink, black and white... a lovely combination I think! And Custard is soooo cute!

And then this cute little Porridge, he doesn't feel very well.. but hopefully in this card , he just feels fine!!

Deze Sugar Nellie stempel is zooo geweldig maar ook zooooo groot!!! Ik vind het altijd een uitdaging om met een grote afdruk te werken, maar gelukkig met het papier van basic grey lukte het vrij snel deze keer!
Vergeten jullie niet op het blog van Gayle te kijken en alles te lezen over de Sugar Bowl!

Wowwww, this new Sugar Nellie stamp (patridge in a pear tree) is soooo cute but also very big!! It is always a challenge for me when a stamp is so big, but with those lovely papers from Basic Grey-Wassail, I've made it very quickly!
